WAY TO DISAPPOINT MY IMAGINATION.
I’m nearly positive I remember hearing or reading somewhere (dvd commentary, maybe?) that he was totally nude under there at first, but when he tripped it scandalised some of the film crew, so they probably just made him wear the most innocuous pants they could find, ones that blended in with the sheet.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, the incredibly famous crime-solving duo created by Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle, each derezzed to an utterly minimal 14 x 20 pixel resolution based on their portrayals by Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in the excellent new BBC series “Sherlock”.
