She takes an interest in his cases, she cleans his flat even though she’s ‘not the housekeeper’, she involves herself even when there is a risk to her safety and she even goes though his fridge, making sure he has food. At his graveside she complained bitterly about his mess, his noise, his clutter and yet her complaining was more at the loss of those things. Mrs Hudson loves Sherlock like a son, a son she never had. I love the relationship between these two so much. And knowing that Una Stubbs is friends with Wanda Ventham, and knew Benedict as a little kid, well that just makes it even more heartwarming.
